Hiding from the reality that some relationships are toxic.

Burying the pain hoping something will change.

Praying to forego failed relationships.

Ignoring all these signs, bring the hardest lessons in life.

The roads we navigate are never easy.

There will always be stops and starts.

Broken hearts.

Plans that were never well thought out.

But each step brings us closer to where we hope to be.

It’s funny how we outgrow what we once thought we couldn’t live without.

Life leads us on journeys we would never choose for ourselves.

We’re left to march against the shadows of who we might have been.

How many sleepless nights have we spent?

Crying buckets of tears filled with regret.

It’s the lessons that count, right?

They say there is beauty in not being afraid to fail.

Faith is the courage to give up control.

Someday we just might fall in love with something we never knew we wanted.

Strength is found from overcoming things we thought we couldn’t.

Yet the pain never really goes away, we just make room for it.

Over time, we can share our stories without tears.

Sadness no longer accompanies the tales of our past.

Peace is a journey of a thousand miles.

Happiness will never be found on a checklist.

There is nothing more beautiful than proving to yourself just how strong you are.
