I lost control today.

Everything I've kept buried inside came rushing to the surface.

You're not here to see the shape I'm in.

Spending my time, watching days go by.

Wondering if there's anyone out there who can wake me from this dream?

Sometimes I feel like I'm running uphill.

How many casualties will this war bring?

I'm constantly stumbling and getting back up.

Slowing inching forward to my goal.

What defines me is how well I rise after each fall.

I thought I could smile my way through it.

But it's not always that easy.

As much as I want to escape;

Sometimes the bad things stay with you.

All I can do is be ready for the good.

Let the light in.

Never give up.

Don't quit.

Embrace the journey.

Many things in life don't go according to plan.

Women who know their worth are dangerous.

When no one can use you or play you, you become a threat.

And a threat becomes a target.

I don't know what it means to back down.

Only step up.

Accept the challenge.

Test my resolve.

Willing to learn my limits.

I choose to be kind because it makes me happy.

But don't mistake my kindness for weakness.

I will defend my boundaries.

Be fierce.

Love without hesitation.

Give grace.

Make peace.

I made space for the pain until there was time for healing.

Now I will rise to higher levels.

Pouring out love.

Lending a hand.

Giving chances.

Elevating others.

I don't pretend to be like everyone else.

Won't adapt to another energy just to fit in.

I wasn't created to imitate anyone else.

Love me like I am.
